From Tuesday 2nd to Thursday 4th October, we have met at the 20th edition of Conxemar. A reference in Europe, the International Fair of Frozen Seafood Products (CONXEMAR) has contributed to the meeting point for the entire sector. A current exhibition area of 31,500 m2 has allowed us to share three days of emotions with professionals from our sector. We have captivated with our line of products based on frogs’ legs and we have made our singular mark.
A 13% increase in visitors
The International Fair of Frozen Seafood Products Conxemar has closed the XX edition after three days of intense business activity. 35,448 professionals were the visitors in this edition, 13% more than in 2017.
Visitors came from 106 countries around the world, including Spain, Portugal, Italy and France. This year the total number of exhibitors reached 742, 21% more than last year.
According to the organization, the International Congress on World Fishery Production has also contributed to the “success” of the event. The congress was co-organized with FAO, which brought together senior fisheries representatives from seven countries and national authorities. Among them, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, was present and was in charge of closing the Congress.
Thus, we close an edition that has exceeded all expectations. From Singular by Grenoucerie, we would like to extend our gratitude to all those who have made possible this great experience in Conxemar. A special mention to the support in the participation in this fair to the ICE of the Junta de Castilla y León. This action is part of our Internationalization project, which has been co-financed by the European Union Funds (FEDER), in order to increase our presence in international markets.
